DEREK HITCHCOCK was involved with the club boy and man, as a supporter since the age of four before taking on the Commercial Manager’s role on a full time basis. He gave up a safe and secure career in the Civil Service to take up the Commercial Manager’s role. Derek was programme editor at the club for 19 seasons and combined this with virtually every job you could think of at the club. It came as a surprise when Derek called it a day after over 40 years involvement in many guises to pursue a new career.
