Midfielder Stephen signed his first professional contract with Rotherham in 2005 and made 64 senior appearances for the club and was touted as a serious Premier League prospect, before a serious leg-break and a change of manager disrupted his progress. He moved to Alfreton Town on transfer deadline day in the summer of 2011 before shifting to Stalybridge in the Conference North. Following 11 goals in 36 games for Stalybridge in 2011-12, he moved to Guiseley in the same league before switching to Forest Green in September 2012. An attacking midfielder with two good feet and quality technique, Brogan brings confidence over the dead ball and goal-scoring ability.Unlucky with injuries Brog�s made just seven starts for Forest Green before his summer move to Southport.
