SUPER-SUB Jordan Archer rallied Southport as the Sandgrounders staged a second-half comeback.Southport came close to opening the scoring within five minutes as Marcus Carver saw his shot cleared off the line. But in a cagey first half it was a moment of Chorley magic that broke the deadlock. Jon Ustabasi cutting in from the left-wing before curling a stunning effort in at the back post, giving Tony McMillan no chance.Southport searched for an equaliser throughout the end of the first-half and the beginning of the second, but Chorley looked resolute, giving up little more than half-chances until the 65th minute, when a lapse in concentration allowed Archer to meet a Michael Carberry cross, but the former Boston United man could not direct his header on target.Archer would make no such mistake eight minutes later as his flicked header into the back of the net to level. Two minutes later, Archer would add his second to wrap up all three points as a lovely bit of passing around the penalty area saw Niall Watson get in behind before sending a low ball across the face of goal with Southport’s number 9 stooping low to nod in.
