The Brabinator is back!

Gary  Brabin was this morning introduced to the players as the new manager of Southport Football Club, replacing Martin Foyle who was relieved of his duties yesterday.
Gary brings with him Paul Carden as his assistant.
Gary knows the club well having previously had spells as both player and manager however the addition of the excellent training facilities at Edge Hill University are new to him and he wasted no time in meeting Edge Hill’s Dr Matt Grieg and taking in a brief tour of the facilities. The facilities are some of the best in the country and he couldn’t fail to be impressed.
As the players arrived they were greeted by Chairman Charles Clapham and Commercial and Community Director Haydn Preece who then introduced the new management due at 10am. Gary Brabin and Paul Carden then led a light session in the rain on the all weather surface as they prepare for their first game in charge tomorrow night. A few players were still carrying knocks are received treatment from the Sports Therapy team at the university.
